Job Description
MULTIPÔLE Pontivy is recruiting Slaughterhouse Workers (M/F) for one of its clients, a poultry slaughterhouse, for a temporary job in the food industry in France.
Working in the cutting and packaging workshops of a poultry slaughterhouse (chickens, turkeys or ducks), the Slaughterhouse Worker in France will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Hanging chicken, turkey or duck carcasses on the production line using hooks
- Sorting meat parts such as legs, wings and non-compliant pieces
- Trimming and sorting cut pieces (skin, fat, cartilage, bruises) using scissors or knives
- Cutting and packaging meat products
An internal training program will be provided by the client to ensure proper onboarding.

Candidate Profile
- Motivated, serious, well-organized and reliable

- Ability to maintain a steady work pace
- Comfortable working in cold environments (constant temperature between 4°C and 8°C)
- Basic French language skills are an advantage
- Category B driving licence and personal vehicle are a plus
Contract Details
Contract Duration & Location
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Contract duration: Initial 3-month contract, with possible extension up to 18 months
- Work location: Brittany region, France
Working Hours
- Full-time position: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7 hours per day)
- Overtime available
- Working hours to be defined
Salary
- Gross hourly rate: €11.88
- Estimated net hourly rate: €11.21
(including 10% paid leave + 10% end-of-assignment allowance) - Overtime pay:
- +25% from the 36th to the 43rd hour (approx. €16.50/hour)
- +50% from the 44th hour onwards
- Night shift bonus: +20% for hours worked between 9:00 pm and 6:00 am
- Accommodation cost (if required): €320 per month per person (all charges included)
