MULTIPÔLE places European workforce to meet recruitment needs in Vendée

In 2024, industry in Vendée is still heavily dominated by the food processing, metalworking and mechanical engineering sectors, which together account for 54% of industrial jobs in the département. Immersed in a competitive employment basin with an unemployment rate below the national average, industrial companies in Vendée are often faced with labor shortages.

MULTIPÔLE offers a solution to this shortage of resources by providing temporary employment for European workers. Alain Millet shared his vision with Guillaume ROBELET, journalist for Ouest France, during an interview in January 2024.

Coping with human resources shortages by integrating European temporary workers: the MULTIPÔLE challenge

With its three sites in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (85 – Vendée), Cholet (49 – Maine-et-Loire) and Pontivy (56 – Morbihan), Multipôle is extending its expertise nationwide.

Today, MULTIPÔLE has nearly a hundred customers, mainly in the Grand Ouest region – including major groups in the Vendée – and employs nearly 900 European workers. These customers are spread across the agri-food, industrial and construction sectors.

MULTIPÔLE relies on European workers to rapidly upgrade their skills

Often from rural backgrounds, the European workers placed by Multipôle are familiar with the agri-food industry. These workers are therefore able to work quickly and improve their skills easily through training.

In order to create the optimum conditions for the integration of these workers into the targeted industries, MULTIPÔLE offers comprehensive support for each of its temporary workers in ;

MULTIPÔLE works in close collaboration with its customers, from arrival in France right through to the start of the temporary worker’s employment. MULTIPÔLE’s objective: to create the conditions necessary for employees to be fully satisfied with their assignments within the companies they join.
