Job Description

MULTIPÔLE Pontivy is recruiting Meat Processing & Packaging Workers (M/F) for one of its clients, a slaughterhouse in Brittany, for a temporary job in the food industry in France.

Working in the cutting and packaging workshops of the slaughterhouse, the Meat Processing Worker in France will be involved in various tasks depending on the assigned department, including poultry (chicken, turkey, duck) or pork processing.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Processing poultry or pork meat
  • Performing different tasks depending on the workshop:
    • Slaughter workshop: preparing and eviscerating carcasses, sorting organs and performing basic cutting tasks
    • Cutting workshop: deboning, cutting and trimming carcasses (fat, veins, cartilage), cleaning work areas
  • Palletizing processed products, handling pallets and ensuring proper packaging and sorting

  • Motivated, serious, organized and reliable
  • Ability to maintain a steady work pace
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (constant temperature between 4°C and 8°C)

  • Category B driving licence and personal vehicle are a plus

Contract Details

Contract Duration & Location

  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Contract duration: Initial 3-month assignment, with possible extension up to 18 months
  • Work location: Brittany region, France

Working Hours

  • Full-time position: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7 hours per day)
  • Overtime available

Salary

  • Gross hourly rate: €11.88
  • Estimated net hourly rate: €11.21
    (including 10% paid leave + 10% end-of-assignment allowance)
  • Overtime pay:
    • +25% from the 36th to the 43rd hour
    • +50% from the 44th hour onwards
  • Accommodation cost (if required): €320 per month per person (all charges included)
